Bob Dylan - Desire

Another great personal Dylan album, Desire (1976) captures Dylan at the beginning of his Rolling Thunder Revue era. Folk, Rock, Middle Eastern themes and epic narratives, the album is a Pop staple throughout. A wild collection of styles result in an album that ranks in the top of all Dylan efforts. It rambles, rocks and thunders – the sheer energy is just infectious. Its best known track and album opener "Hurricane", is quickly followed by the hypnotic "Isis" and breezy "Mozambique". A fascinating record, the 18th Dylan release on Music On Vinyl!  180 gram audiophile vinyl and Insert

Dave Brubeck - We're All Together Again For The First Time

During the late '60s and early '70s, Dave Brubeck used to jam with baritonist Gerry Mulligan, along with The Dave Bubeck Trio's regulars Jack Six on bass and drummer Alan Dawson. When Paul Desmond joined on alto sax, the newly formed quintet recorded several live dates which resulted in We're All Together Again For The First Time(1973). The album contains a definitive live version of Brubeck's classic "Take Five" which takes up half the B-side of the record, showcasing the prowess of every member. Other interesting tunes include "Rotterdam Blues" and "Koto Song", where Paul Desmond takes center stage.  180 gram audiophile vinyl

Soda Stereo - Soda Stereo

England had The Police, United States had Blondie... and Argentina had Soda Stereo, one of the greatest bands of the new wave explosion and without any doubt one of the most important in the history of Rock in Spanish.

Their debut was a refreshing breath of modernity and smart lyrics: produced by Federico Moura (leader of Virus), the album contained strong attacks against the lack of control of the consumer society, and it was sarcastically launched at a local fast food chain. Soon it was awarded Platinum in Argentina and Peru, and Double Platinum in Chile, making it an essential title to understand modern music in Latin America.

This Music On Vinyl release is the first vinyl reissue of the band worldwide since 1995. 180 gram audiophile vinyl and Insert

Joe Vitale - Roller Coaster Weekend

As a drummer, flutist and keyboardist, Joe Vitale's first album featured his own playing on multiple instruments. Augmented by guitar fireworks of former band mate Joe Walsh, Rick Derringer and Phil Keaggy, Vitale delivered an album filled to the brim with catchy rhythms and playful songwriting. Ron and Howard Albert produced the album, whom were also responsible for Derek and the Dominoes' Layla and Other Assorted Love Songs, the Allman Brothers' Eat A Peach, and other legendary albums. After recording Rollercoaster Weekend, Vitale would join the Stills-Young band and tour with the classic Crosby, Stills & Nash line-up, as well as the Eagles. 180 gram audiophile vinyl

Elvis Presley - Elvis At Stax

Riding high on the success of Aloha From Hawaii, Elvis did something remarkable. He decided that his next recording project would be on his home turf - Memphis, TN. The most desirable studio in town was the red-hot STAX - the launching pad of such greats as Otis Redding, Wilson Pickett, Sam & Dave and Isaac Hayes. Elvis assembled the very best musicians in town - members of Booker T. and The MGs, The Memphis Boys and his own TCB band to create the ultimate band and he searched for fresh new material that would reflect his new path. Such songs as "I Got A Feelin' In My Body" and "Loving Arms" demonstrate an artist looking to broaden his palette and his reach. The Stax material has never been positioned as a whole body of work - but is an amazing chapter of Elvis' career. With the Elvis At Stax release, all of this material is collected for the first time. Along with some of the funky outtakes, it creates a fresh new package that, while it doesn't have the known hits, tells a great story.
